Supporting Talents

Future on ice - cooperation between Syntax and HC Košice

At Syntax, we think about the future. Just as we support the growth of talented IT specialists in our company, we also try to think about the community in which we live and work. That’s why we have been looking with our partner – the hockey club HC Košice – for penetrations where and how we as a company could help (besides supporting the A team). The result of our discussions is a project to support the youth of HC Košice called Future on Ice. It will focus primarily on communication education and marketing of the hockey club’s work with youth, so that we can work together to attract as many talents to the club as possible, who may one day grow up to be NHL players like Laco Nagy, Jirko Bicek, Erik Cernak or Juraj Slafkovsky and others.

Saška Rexová - Rexa[TEAM]

Saška is a student of the Gymnasium Ján Papánek in Bratislava, who jumped straight into the ski elite and unexpectedly won the Grand Crystal Globe for the overall first place in the World Cup 2020/21. She suffers from central vision loss. She has been skiing since the age of five and got into Paralympic sport through her participation in the International Junior Camp in Jasna, which the SPV organised with the support of the IPC Agitos Foundation. She subsequently became a member of the B Top team. She has now made her Paralympic debut, where she won gold in the super-G and bronze in the slalom! Our collaboration started in 2023 when we first met in the Tatras. From the beginning it was clear to us that we would support Sasha in her direction not only financially, but also in other marketing activities and events. We cooperate with Saška within the project Nedaj sa, Hovor o tom! And she also met with our staff at a talk in Košice.
